Terrance Millet was born and raised in Northern Ontario. He received an M.A. from The University of Western Ontario and an M.F.A from Oregon State. He is the author of fiction and poetry, including translations from the Greek poetry of C. P. Cavafy and the German poems of Rainer Maria Rilke. His short fiction has appeared in such magazines as The Hopkins Review, Descant, The New Quarterly, Acumen, and the Clackamas Literary Review. His poetry has appeared in Canadian Literature, Pig Iron Press, and the CBC Anthology. His novel Bones in the Dam explores the struggles of a military family through three generations. He teaches creative writing at Linn-Benton Community College in Albany, Oregon.
